The enclosed CD contains 54 Microsoft Excel® (.xls) data files with over 120 related charts and table sheets, four Adobe (.pdf) and (.txt) text files and one table of contents (.xls) file. Chart files also include the full data tables. The Jet Information Table of Contents file contains two sheets, a table of contents of the data files and a CD Map/Index with links to all file sheets included on the CD. In addition, subject matter table of contents tables are included in several of the files which provide links to related files and tables in the CD. Quarterly subscribers have online access to Year-End and Quarterly updated Summary as well as Expanded fleet interactive databases at the Jet Information Services, Inc. website. Many of the World Jet Inventory charts and tables are also available online.

Jet Inventory Table of Contents.xls: This file provides a hyperlink to all of the files on the CD. It also contains a CD Map/Index with additional hyperlinks to all of table sheets included on the CD. Pull down filters are available to narrow selections with the CD Map/Index.

Overview of the World Jet Inventory at Year-End 2008 Section 1 of the publication contains chart and tables showing an overview of the industry from 1970-2008. The data used to create each chart is also included in the files. Subject matter table of contents are provided for links to related tables and charts.

The files ‘2008YE Summary.xls’ and 2009Q1-Q3 provide summary data for the total fleet as a single file. The Summary Pivot Table and Pivot Chart enable easier data analysis and presentation. The file data is also presented in Sections 5, 6, and 7 and contains the following information:

The files ‘2008YE Expanded.xls’ and ‘2009Q1-Q3’ expands the data reported in the summary files and contains individual airplane information by serial number and status for Western built and Russian commercial jets in the fleet at year and quarter ends.. The Expanded Pivot Table and Pivot Chart enable easy data analysis and presentation. Included are individual data fields showing:
